🎵 General Music with Mr. Jose Ortiz
Mr. Jose Ortiz is the teacher for the general music program at Our Lady if Victory. He teaches music classes that are focused on singing and rhythm games used to develop students pitch-matching, and rhythm-matching abilities. Exposure to various instruments is included as a part of the program as well. Please reach out with any questions!
Diego Nava is a dynamic pianist, composer, and music educator known for his versatile performances and student-focused teaching. He has played with jazz ensembles, trios, and quartets, and regularly performs at weddings, theaters, and live events. As Music Director and Pianist at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, Diego brings both creativity and leadership to the stage. His teaching background includes directing music at Washington Latin Charter School and coaching young musicians at the Blues Alley Jazz Camp. With over six years of experience teaching private piano lessons to students ages 4 to 50, Diego offers a flexible, personalized approach that inspires confidence and musical growth.

Join our Symphonic Orchestra program at Our Lady of Victory! Open to all students in grades 2 and up, this elective program allows students to choose from a variety of band and orchestral instruments. Mr. Diego Nava will guide students once a week, helping them develop musical skills through our unique curriculum.
